When your grandbaby insists on stand-up soothing, but your back refuses, try this idea from a fellow grandma, Ronda Kay. She sits on her physioball. It soothes baby and saves her lower back.
I would have to master the physioball myself before I would ever add a baby. I was helping with a friends baby at church on Sunday (7 months) and the little one didn’t want anything to do with me but mom needed the help. I resorted to water play in the bathroom sink. It worked, she turned to all smiles.
And Grandma Shelley, I’m sure with your courage and wit you can master physioball-ing easily!
I was introduced to them by a creative physical therapist during my first serious bout with lower back pain. I took it home and within a day was addicted – it’s a lovely floating feeling, and research is beginning to verify how good it is for the brain, gently stimulating the spinal cord, and positive emotions! I get as much of a charge as the babies!!

Thanks for sharing my physioball fun here 🙂
