Here’s a great way to use your ripe bananas and have an easy nutritious snack for your kids and grandkids. They can even help you make them.
You’ll Need:
Ripe bananas
Finely chopped nuts
Cinnamon
1. Mash up the bananas in a bowl using a fork.
2. Stir in nuts & cinnamon.
3. Form into a small ball & place on cookie sheet.
4. Refrigerate until firm.
I just may make these for myself, not my grandkiddo. I *always* end up having ripe bananas because I just can’t get the hang of buying only two or three at a time instead of the whole bunch like I did when I had kids at home.
I’m like you. When I’m at the store I buy lots of bananas because I think I’m going to eat them, but I don’t. I wonder if you could keep them in the freezer?
You can definitely freeze bananas! Just peel them and pop them in Ziplok bag. I double the bags to prevent any hint of freezer burn but I always reuse the outer bag so it is not wasted.
